Submissions for our journal are currently closed

Thank you for your interest in publishing with the Columbia Law Review Forum. The Forum Committee is no longer accepting submissions. We will open submissions again in August 2026. Please contact Ria McDonald, Executive Forum Editor, at efe@columbialawreview.org with any questions about submission guidelines or procedures. Any pieces already submitted will still receive a full review, and the Committee will send final dispositions in the next week.

For Authors

Submission Requirements
Columbia Law Review Forum strongly encourages authors to limit their submissions to 3,000-10,000 words (including footnotes), but will also review longer pieces that meet our submissions criteria.

  • Text and citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed. 2020).

  • Footnotes are strongly preferred over endnotes.

  • We encourage the use of gender-neutral language.
